The remains of late Elder Ndidi Kalu was over the weekend committed to earth at her husband compound, Atan Ihechiowa, Arochukwu, Abia state.

Aged Fifty, Ndidi Kalu until her demise was of the Corporate Planning unit of the ABS before her redeployment to the Onitsha Divisional library.

Family members, friends and well wishes gathered to bid her farewell.

Delivering a sermon at the funeral service in her honour conducted by the Presbyterian Church of Nigeria, Reverend Francis Ukaonu of St Andrews Onitsha parish, who centered his message on”what will you be remembered for,” lamented alarming rate and incessant cases of death in the society.

Describing the deceased as a committed Christian who contributed her quota towards kingdom expansion, ReverendUkaonu noted that though her life was short lived, she was purposeful.

Her first son, Mr Chigozie Kalu, who reflected on her virtues, said she was an advocate of moral values.

Others who attested on her attributes, including Mrs Kate Eze and Mr Chiadikaobi Okoro remarked that she lived a life worthy of emulation.
