The Minister of State, Foreign Affairs, Ambassador Bianca Ojukwu, has assumed office after she was sworn-in in a ceremony by the President, Bola Tinubu.
The Minister of State was received at the Tafawa Balewa House, Abuja by the Permanent Secretary, Dunoma Ahmed, and Directors of various departments of the ministry.
They led the new Minister of State to her office where she told journalists that she would bring her wealth of experience to bear in driving President Tinubu’s 4Ds foreign policy agenda.
She described coming to the Ministry of Foreign Affairs as home coming or second missionary journey as she had always been a part of the Ministry.
Ambassador Ojukwu promised to work with the Minister, Ambassador Yusuf Tuggar to ensure that the rights of Nigerians in diaspora are protected so as to positively drive the agenda.
