Anambra State Multi Stakeholders Action Committee on Prevention Of Gender-Based Violence (MAP-GBV), has sought the collaboration of Radio Nigeria Purity FM in raising awareness against gender-based violence.

The Committee sought the collaboration during an advocacy visit to the General Manager of the station, Engr. Uchenna Chukwuedo.

The Chairman of the committee and traditional ruler of Olumbanasa, Igwe Pius Omachonu explained that the aim of the committee is poll stakeholders to become active participants in the prevention of gender based violence and solicited the station’s support in achieving this goal.

Responding, Engr. Chukwuedo appreciated the committee and assured of the station’s readiness to partner it, saying that the objective of the committee is a good cause.

Present during the visit were the coordinator of the committee, Hope Okoye, the Sub Committee Chairman for Data, and Research, Barr. Obinna Mmaduforo, among others.
