The Governor of Anambra State, Professor Chukwuma Soludo has said that his administration succeeds because it prioritizes building human capital development.

He counted some of its recorded success stories to include free public education, youth entrepreneurship programmes, and healthcare improvements while envisioning a model that prioritizes equitable education and sustainable economic growth.

In his lecture at the thirteenth convocation of Veritas University Abuja tagged “Let Us Make a New Deal for Nigeria” Governor Soludo reflected on Nigeria’s current challenges, as according to him, unlike previous generations who benefited from tuition-free, high-quality education, today’s youths often feel that Nigeria has offered them little, raising questions about their sense of patriotism and duty.

The Pro-chancellor and Chairman, Governing Council of Veritas University, Abuja, Bishop Hassan Kukah, who was full of praises for the Soludo led administration harped on the need for all hands to be on deck to liberate the country from the uneducated people who now holds the country hostage.
