Anambra State Head of Service, Lady Theodora Igwegbe, has called on workers to show more dedication in rendering service to the people of Anambra state.
She made the call during an interactive session with the press in her office at the Jerome Udorji Secretariat Complex in Awka on the new minimum wage implementation.
She called on workers to realize that the implementation points to the fact that Governor Chukwuma Soludo places priority on their welfare and charged them to reciprocate by being committed to duty.
The Head of Service thanked labour leaders in Anambra State for the maturity shown throughout the period of consultations and considerations prior to the payment of the new minimum wage.
Lady Theodora also thanked Governor Chukwuma Soludo, for being quick in the implementation of the new Minimum Wage Act 2024.
