24-year-old Kingsley Ndianeze accused of defiling a minor, and another 24-year-old Miracle Ibe accused of conspiracy and kidnapping have been discharged by the Chief Judge of Anambra State, Honourable Justice Onochie Anyachebelu, as he visited the Medium Security Custodial Center, Nnewi on jall delivery exercise.

Justice Anyachebelu, represented by his second in command and Administrative Judge of Onitsha Judicial Division, Justice Ifeanyi Nweze, also granted bail to a murder suspect, Benedict Ikebunna, robbery suspect, Ikenna Ezeoke, and Chimamkpam Ngeremba accused of stealing and malicious damage.

Speaking to newsmen after appearing for about 20 inmates ‘pro bono’, Reverend Barrister Lotanna Ogbuchukwu advised those who regained freedom not to abuse the privilege, but to find ways of being useful to themselves and the society.

In his remark after the day’s proceedings, Justice Onochie commended speedy dispensation of criminal matters in the area, saying that there is a great improvement on what used to be.

On his part, the Officer in-charge of the custodial center, Ikenna Nwobor, urged those who regained freedom to make use of life-changing trainings they received at the center to be useful to themselves and the society.
