Anambra State Government has earmarked two hundred billion naira for road infrastructure in 2025 fiscal year.

This was contained in the breakdown of the 2025 budget presented to state House of Assembly by Governor Chukwuma Soludo and read to the media by the Commissioner for Budget and Economic Planning, Mrs Chiamaka Nnake, during a media briefing in her office at Jerome Udorji State Secretariate, Awka.

According to the Commissioner who was accompanied by the Permanent Secretary of the ministry, Mrs Chinyere Nwabachali, and the Press Secretary to the Governor, Mr Christian Aburime, the 2025 budget will carter for the completion of road projects awarded in 2024 and new ones that would kick off in 2025, adding that the budget contains one hundred and one billion naira increase for education from that of 2024, while development of leisure park, completion of the Solution Fun City, development of four heritage sites in the state will cost ten billion naira.

Mrs Nnake also stated that the budget has one hundred and three point eight billion naira which the state will drive through internally generated revenue to complement the federal allocation in order to actualize the capital and recurrent budget of 2025.
