Nigeria’s Chief of Defence Staff, General Christopher Musa, has assured that the African Military Games, AMGA, 2024 will be a world-class event, spotlighting African unity and showcasing Nigeria’s rich culture.

Speaking at a press briefing in Abuja, General Musa confirmed that Libya, Burkina Faso, Niger, and Mali would participate in the event, emphasizing that the military transcends politics and remains a global family.

The twelve-day gaming event in Abuja will feature athletes from twenty-five countries competing in nineteen sports.

The Local Organizing Committee of the event chaired by Air Vice Marshal Abidemi Marquis revealed that facilities have been upgraded to international standards, with plans for vibrant entertainment from top Nigerian artistes.
