Anambra State Government has inaugurated electronic markets stall digitization project at the Ogbaru Relief Market.

Inaugurating the exercise, the Special Adviser to the Governor on Trade and Market, Chief Evarist Uba said the aim is to capture every shop in Anambra Market in the State data base to reduce crisis of store ownership.


The President General of Ogbaru Main market, Chief Ndubuisi Ochiogu, disclosed that he has treated many cases of illegal transfer of shop ownership in the market which the Digitation and revalidation will address.

The project consultant, Deacon Paul Anikpe explained that the project is in tandem with Millennium Development Goal that falls on ‘Data Your Economy “for effective management and sustainable growth.


The President General, Anambra State Market Amalgamated Traders Association, Chief Humphrey Anuna, said the exercise will put to rest crisis of store ownership in various markets.
