Annie Okonkwo Foundation has offered scholarship to one hundred and fifty students from various secondary schools in Anambra State.

The scholarship scheme tagged “Dreams To Degree covers the WAEC fees and learning materials of the beneficiaries who are in Senior Secondary three class that passed the scholarship examination of the foundation.


Speaking after presentation of scholarship certificates to the students at Professor Dora Akunyili Women’s Development Centre, Awka, the benefactor of the foundation and member Representing Idemili North and South Federal Constituency at National Assembly, Honourable Uchenna Okonkwo, disclosed that the gesture is his own way of promoting education in the state.


On his part, the State Chief of Protocol and Deputy Chief of Staff to Governor Chukwuma Soludo, Sir Chinedu Nwoye, commended the foundation for embracing the Public Private Partnership of the Soludo administration.


Some of the beneficiaries, including Amauche Nwaofufe and Chiemelie Anuchiem assured that they will justify the scholarship given to them by passing their WAEC.
