The Accountant General of Anambra State, Dr Chukwudi Okoli has described the over six hundred billion Naira budget for the services of Anambra State government for the 2025 fiscal Year as an estimate that gears towards bringing even development across Anambra State.
Speaking in an interview with Abuchi Nwozor on the draft estimate tagged Anambra State budget, changing gears 2:0, Dr Okoli said that Governor Chukwuma Soludo as an economist of international repute took cognizant of the critical needs of many sectors including industrialization which was allocated two hundred and nineteen billion Naira in the 2025 budget, in an effort to make Anambra a manufacturing hub.
Dr Okoli commended the Anambra State House of Assembly for their ongoing efforts to give the 2025 draft estimate of Anambra State Government accelerated passage through its scaling of second reading and with the commencement of budget bilateral discussion on Tuesday 27th November 2024.
