The saying in the scripture that a man shall leave his father and mother and hold fast to his wife and they shall become one flesh came to fulfillment again when Chief Chukwudiebere Okosa and Princess Onyinyechukwu Emeka were joined together as one in a holy matrimony at the Church of Pentecost, Awka.

Onyinyechukwu and Chukwudiebere exchanged marital vows and wedding ring before the congregation during a special service presided over by the Archbishop, Province of the Niger, Most Reverend Dr. Alexander Ibezim, assisted by other bishops.

The Bishop, Diocese of Niger West, Right Reverend Johnson Ekwe in a sermon advised the couple to live in peace, show love to one another and put God first in all they do.

The wedding ceremony attracted people from all walks of life from Nigeria and beyond including the Governor of Anambra state, Professor Chukwuma Soludo represented by the Secretary to the State Government, Professor Solo Chukwulobelu who advised the couple to maintain peace all through and wished them a happy married life.

The parents of the bride, Igwe Benneth Emeka and his wife, Chinwe expressed their happiness and advised the couple not to allow third party or friends to influence their marriage.

Speaking, the couple thanked God for the union, saying it is good to do the will of God in all things and appreciated those that graced the occasion.

A reception for the wedding was held at the International Convention Center, Awka.
