Harvest thanksgiving is a period people especially Christians express  appreciation to God  for  His mercies and blessings  for a bountiful harvest in both their farming, businesses and other good things they engage in.

The  2024 harvest  has the  theme ,” Harvest of Divine Glory” coincided with the first Sunday in advent during which Christians prepare for the coming of Jesus Christ.

It will be recalled  that the year 2023, left many people and many countries in agony, sorrow, and pain because of  the negative impact of  political and economic instabilities.

The unabated Ukraine and Russia war and the Israeli Palestinian war, have  terribly changed the political and economic narrative  of the World with it negative impact on Africa .

The church as part of the society was affected by these conflicts. The Love of many waxed cold and some believers gave up in the midst of these anxieties.

However,  the situation in some  ways provided the gospel the opportunity to thrive stronger as many depended on the Grace and intervention of the Lord to survive.

During the 2023 ‘Harvest of never give up,  God indeed manifested Himself to the people   as many unexplained  battles came in diverse forms and ways but God raised men and women and made a name for Himself.

The 2024 Harvest has series of privileges and  opportunities for all true believers, as a New chapter has opened both for individuals, church and Nations as it is never late for the Lord to restore the years the locust has eaten.

2024 Harvest of Divine Glory at the Cathedral Church of Saint Faith Awka:  be part of it and be glad you did.
