Anambra State Commissioner for Works, Engineer Ifeanyi Okoma says out of five hundred and twenty kilometers of roads awarded by Governor Chukwuma Soludo’s administration, three hundred sixteen have been fully asphalted.
Commissioner Okoma stated this while interfacing with the Anambra state House of Assembly Committee on Works and Infrastructure and Committee on Finance and Appropriation during the 2025 budget defense.
The Works Commissioner said that though there are challenges in the construction industry such as high cost of construction materials and diesel, but they will continue to deliver good dividends of democracy to Ndi Anambra in the area of road and infrastructural development.
In his remarks, the House Committee Chairman on Works and Infrastructure and Member representing Orumba South Constituency, Engineer Emma Nwafor, noted that the performance of the Ministry of works is satisfactory in 2024.
