Ministers of God have been charged to use their positions to promote peace and love among all Christians, in addition to bringing hope to the hopeless.
The Anglican Bishop of Aguata Diocese, Right Reverend Samuel Ezeofor, gave the charge at the Cathedral Church of Saint John, Ekwulobia during an Advent ordination service of the Diocese in which Dr. Okwuolisa Igwilo was made a Deacon, while Reverend Innocent Nwankwo, Emmanuel Ochuba and Obumneme Okeke were made Priests.
Bishop Ezeofor also urged Priests to be diligent in prayer, in addition to preaching the undiluted word of God.
In a sermon, the ordination retreatant and Anglican Bishop of Zaria, Right Reverend Ishaya Baba, reminded the ordained of the need to always shepherd the flock with integrity, as well as being cautious of the crown of glory, and considering themselves as fellow elders.
