The remains of late Mrs Theresa Okoye have been laid to rest in her husband’s compound at Umuenechi village Nibo in Awka South Local Goverment Area.
Late Mrs Okoye, who died at the age of seventy-four, was the mother of Director.of Engineering Department of ABS, Mr Paul Okoye.
In a sermon during funeral service held for the deceased, Reverend Leonard Onwuzuluigbo described the death of a righteous christian as transition to glory, saying that testimonies about the late Theresa showed that she served God faithfully with her time and resources, and enjoined christians to emulate her.
In a condolence message to the Okoye family, the Managing Director of ABS, Mr Christopher Molokwu, represented by the Deputy Director of Programmes Department of the establishment, Mr Roy Ekwunife, thanked God for the life of late Mrs Okoye, and enjoined her children to be consoled by the fact that she lived a life worthy of emulation.
Receiving the ABS staff and the Management team, one of the sons of the deceased, Paul, expressed gratitude to the establishment for showing him and his siblings love in their mourning period.
