The people of Abube-Uno Nando, in Anambra East Local Government Area have extolled Governor Chukwuma Soludo for rescuing them from land speculators who had forcefully grabbed their ancestral land where they farm in the community.
Speaking to the ABS when the villagers gathered to appreciate Governor Soludo and his security men for coming to their aid, one of the eldest men in Abube-Uno, Chief Nnamdi Ekwenze revealed that some hoodlums had allegedly sold their ancestral land where the villagers farm, position over three hundred youths with guns and all sorts of dangerous weapons and drove away their women and men who were farming in the area, regretting that they had written to various security agencies in the state to intervene but to no avail, until they wrote to Governor Soludo who swung into action and retrieve their land back to them.
The Vice Chairman of the Abube-Uno Nando, Chief Sabastine Emenike-Aghadinuno, explained that they want to appreciate Governor Soludo and inform him that they have successfully harested what they planted in the land without any disturbance.
In their various remarks, Ajamma Nwadili, Mmaduabuchi Uwakwe, Ifeanyichukwu Mmadubuike as well as Ijeoma Nwabunwanne commended Governor Soludo for being upright and a quintessential leader.
