Six Primary School Head Teachers at Awada have been demoted for sabotaging Anambra state government’s free education policy in all government owned schools across the state.
According to the Executive Chairman of Anambra State Universal Basic Education Board, Dr. Vera Nwadinobi during a Press Briefing in Awka, to let the public know that ASUBEB is strictly monitoring schools, public schools are given fifty thousand naira impress every month as sundry running cost including providing teaching aids like marker and white boards.
The demoted Head Teachers including Mrs. Uju Okoye of Awada Primary School one, Mrs. Eunice Nwanneka of Awada Primary School two, Mrs. Patience Obioma of Awada Primary School three, Mrs. Elizbeth Ekene of Awada Primary School four Mrs. Gloria Nkolika of Awada Primary School five, Mrs. Chinwe Muluako of Awada Primary School six.
They were mandated to refund all collected monies, step down and handover to the next ranking Teacher and further warned that subsequently, such Head Teachers found guiltily would be dismissed.
