As a town known for it’s rich cultural heritage, initiation into the “Otu Odu” and “Agbalanze” societies of Onitsha always take the center stage at the period, as most of them are on holidays.
ABS Crew came across such event where Dr Mrs Ifeyinwa Manafa was initiated into the Otu Odu society of Onitsha at Ime Obi Ogbeoza, featuring beehive of activities such as traditional dances.
President of Otu Odu Society of Onitsha, Mrs Florence Osoka, revealed that for one to belong to such group, she must be an Onitsha woman either by birth or marriage.
