The Mayor of Orumba North Local Government Area, Barrister Casmir Nwafor, has extolled Governor Chukwuma Soludo for approving the construction of Awgu-Amaetiti-Okpeze-Ndiukwuenu road, in addition to other meaningful projects his government has established in Orumba North, which he said, have brought joy to the people of the area.

Barrister Nwafor, who expressed regrets that Orumba North has been marginalized in terms of infrastructural development by previous administrations in the state until the emergence of APGA governments, which according to him, did a lot of projects in the area, lauded Governor Soludo for opening up a long neglected part of Orumba North by constructing the Amansea- Ndiukwuenu-Awa-Ufuma road which connects the people of the area to the capital city in less than twenty-five minutes.

While appealing to the present administration to give attention to other connecting roads in the area; such as the Ndiowu-Oko-Akpu-Ajalli road, and Ndiokolo-Ndiokpalaeke-Ogboji road, the Orumba North Council boss expressed satisfaction with the cordial working relationship existing between the Governor and his Chief of Staff, Chief Ernest Ezeajughi; who is an indigene of Orumba North, adding that the Chief of Staff is truly a good representative of Ndi Orumba North in the present state government.

He assured that the people of Orumba North will surely reciprocate Governor Soludo’s development accomplishments in the area by giving him the necessary support at all times, especially in his next year’s election.
