In a bid to reach Nigeria’s short-term goal of seventy per cent and long-term goal of ninety-five per cent digital literacy by 2030, the National Information Technology Development Agency has formed a partnership with the Ministry of Education to transform the nation’s educational system.

A statement from the agency revealed that this ambitious initiative to fully integrate digital literacy into Nigeria’s educational framework was discussed during a recent courtesy visit to the Minister of Education, Dr. Maruf Alausa, by the agency’s Director General, Mr. Kashifu Inuwa, along with his management team.

The partnership forms a cornerstone of President Bola Ahmed Tinubu’s Renewed Hope Agenda, an ambitious vision to equip young Nigerians with the critical skills required to thrive in the rapidly evolving digital economy.
