Governor Chukwuma Soludo says he will soon inaugurate a major security initiative tagged; “Operation Udo Ga Achị”.

He disclosed this during his appearance on a national television.

Governor Soludo who emphasized that insecurity is not peculiar to Anambra State, explained that the initiative will be a major step towards managing security in the state.

The Governor added that now is the right time to implement state police, saying that despite the reservations held by the people, the idea can be improved upon, to help the people, highlighting the issue of ownership as critical, as local ownership of security will go a long way in solving the broad spectrum of security challenges facing the country.
