The victory of Nigeria’s international players and teams at the just-concluded CAF awards in Morocco has been described as interesting and exciting.

Nigeria had a very impressive outing at the awards ceremony, with ‘Player of the Year Award’ to Ademola Lookman, ‘Goalkeeper of the year Women’ to Chiamaka Nnadozie, and ‘National team of the year Women’ to Super Falcons.

Congratulating Nigerians, the Chairman of Sports Writers Association of Nigeria, SWAN, Anambra State Chapter, Chimezie Anaso, said the outcome shows that Nigeria still occupies a commanding position in African football, and wished that all these individual victories will translate to team victories going forward.
