KEON Football Club has defeated Home Sample Football Club with two goals to one at the first match at the commencement of the 2024/2025 Urum Anike Unity Cup Football Tournament in a match that took place at Community Primary School field Urum, in Awka North Local Government Area.

In their separate interviews, the President-General of Urum Development Union, Sir Felix Oranye through the vice President-General and Chairman Urum Football Committee, Mr Emmanuel Ojeani, commended both teams especially the defeated one for their spirit of sportsmanship.

The Chairman KEON Football Club, Mr Kodilichukwu Okeke thanked God for his team’s victory and expressed the hope that through God’s help, they will win all their remaining matches.
