Governor Chukwuma Soludo has commissioned an administrative block, renovated classrooms, a kitchen, and a refectory at Community High School, Akwaeze, Anaocha Local Government Area.

The facilities were built and donated by the Chairman of Ide Ezeani Nzekwubuo Foundation, Chief Ikenna Okafor during the eleventh anniversary of the foundation which was heralded with a holy mass at Saint Micheal’s Parish, Akwaeze.

Correspondent, Emmanuel Chigbata reports that the mass was officiated by the Catholic Bishop of Ekwulobia Diocese, Peter Cardinal Okpaleke.

Represented by the Commissioner for Health, Dr. Afam Obidike, Governor Soludo lauded Chief Okafor for his philanthropic contributions through Public-Private-Community-Partnership model, describing Chief Okafor as a worthy son of Anambra State.

In his remarks, Chief Okafor, stated that education is the only gift one can give to someone that cannot be taken away and that his goal is to ensure that no one in Akwaeze community is left behind.
