The vicar in charge of Evangelical Church Winning All, ECWA, Odoakpu Onitsha, Reverend Ndubisi John has advised people not to allow the spirit of festivity carry them away from the main purpose of the season.
Reverend Dr. Ndubisi who gave the advice in his message during a church service to mark the festive season at the church, stated that Christmas message was that Jesus Christ is born for the salvation of mankind and is a time for sobber reflection when people should make amend and maintain closer relationship with God.
Correspondent Njideka Okoye reports that the church service also featured songs of praises, worship and thanksgiving.
