Enugwu Village, Adazi-Enu, in Anaocha Local Government Area has celebrated its annual cultural day.

The event at the village Hall, featured award presentations and empowerment initiative.

Addressing the gathering, Igwe Alphonsus Okpalaechelu described the day as a symbol of shared heritage and collective aspirations; commending the Chairman of Enugwu Village, Barrister Jideofor Okongwu, for his love for the community, while praying for continued peace in the village.

In an interview, the Chairman of Enugwu Village, Barrister Okongwu, described the event as a critical step towards fostering unity and development in the community and appealed for the State government’s intervention on the many failed roads in the area.

Among the illustrious sons and daughters recognized during the event which was attended by the mayor of Njikoka Local Government Area Barrister Chined Ononiba were Dr Loris Ejindu, Mrs. Mabel Ezeokongwu, and Pastor Ikenna Enebuwa.
