Pa Anthony and Ezinne Christiana Anah family of Umuoma village, Adazi-Ani in Anaocha Local Government Area has held special thanksgiving to God for miracles He has performed in their lives.

 

Among the miracles for which the family gave thanks during a special thanksgiving Mass at St. Peter’s Catholic Church, Adazi-Ani presided over by the Catholic Bishop of Ekwulobia Diocese, His Eminence Cardinal Peter Okpaleke, were the rescue of their son, Reverend Father Andrew Anah, from the kidnappers’ den on two occasions, saving another son, Chukwukezie, from armed robbers’ gunshots, and continued health and vitality of their octogenarian mother.

In a homily at the Mass, the Catholic Bishop of Awka Diocese, Most Reverend Dr. Paulinus Ezeokafor, reminded Christians of the importance of being true ambassadors of Jesus Christ and living life of gratitude.

In their remarks, a family member and former President General of Adazi-Ani, Barrister Ikechukwu Anah, and the first son of the family, Chief Peter Anah, thanked God for all He has done for them, and prayed for His continued mercy and grace upon their lives
