The Chief Medical Director of the Chukwuemeka Odumegwu Ojukwu University Teaching hospital Amaku Awka, Dr. Joe Akabuike, says their vision is to make the hospital a medical tourism centre in Nigeria and beyond, and extolled Governor Chukwuma Soludo for bringing his magical solution and transformation to the hospital both in infrastructural and human resource developments.
Dr Akabuike, who said that the staff and management of the hospital are eternally grateful to the Governor, praised him for ongoing construction of trauma centre, construction of ultra-modern gate at the hospital, as well as the ongoing reconstruction of all the internal roads in the hospital, noted that the hospital has capable hands to deliver adequate medical services to Ndi Anambra and others.
He noted that management of patients is the most critical job to do in health profession, and assured the citizens that the hospital will continue to do its best in order to ensure that patient that visits the hospital will smile back home hale and hearty.
