Schools in Anambra State have resumed for academic activities after Christmas and New Year break.
Some of the schools visited within Awka and environs by the Executive Chairman of Anambra State Universal Basic Education Board, Dr. Vera Nwadinobi showed full resumption and normal activities as observed at Ezi Awka Community Primary and Secondary School.
Dr. Nwadinobi who also checked on the level of teacher’s resumption, stressed the need for teachers to remain dedicated to duty and be  role models for the children.
The Principal of Ezi Awka Community Secondary School, Mrs. Eucharia Ogbunyi and the Headmistress of the Primary School section, Mrs. Beatrice Umeh affirmed that school has resumed fully for the term.
At Aguoji Primary School, Ifitedunu the turnout of teachers was impressive.
During the visit, the ASUBEB Executive Chairman, Dr. Nwadinobi shared exercise books to the student’s courtesy of the state government.
