Christian Mothers have been charged to be alive to their responsibilities.
The Anglican Bishop of Ogbaru Diocese Right Reverend Prosper Amah who gave the charge at the Basilica of Saint James the Great Cathedral Atani during a rededication service for the Women’s Ministry of the Diocese regretted the high rate of immorality in the society which he blamed on poor parenting.
Bishop Amah who during the service called on the National orientation and various government organs saddled with the responsibility of enlightening the people on the need to imbibe sound morals and positive values to step up efforts.
In a remark the President of the Women’s Ministry in Ogbaru Diocese Dr Uche Amah urged the over one thousand women that participated in the exercise to always aspire to be role models and canvassed the compulsory teaching of moral instructions in all public schools as part of efforts towards restoring moral values to the society.
