The Postmaster General of the Federation and Chief Executive Officer of the Nigerian Postal Service, Mrs. Tola Odeyemi, has called on the Nigeria Police to utilize the National Addressing System as a tool to track and combat criminal activities across the country.

Mrs Odeyemi emphasized that the National Addressing System is an effective mechanism for identifying and tracing criminal activities by providing valuable information on addresses, identities, and other details related to criminal acts within Nigerian communities.

Mrs Odeyemi who made the statement during a meeting with the Inspector General of Police, Mr. Kayode Egbetokun, at the Nigeria Police Headquarters in Abuja highlighted that NIPOST has an extensive infrastructure and assets across all seven hundred and seventy-four local government areas in Nigeria.
