The Chairman, Association of Professional Bodies in Nigeria, Anambra State Chapter, Sir Ralph Nwike, has called for proper supervision of projects, from start to finish, to end incessant building collapses in the state.
Correspondent, Chukwuemeka Modilim reports that Sir Ralph, who made the call while commenting on the three-storey building under construction that collapsed in Awka, identified sub-standard materials used for the building construction and lack of supervision as causes of the building collapse.
He urged developers to desist from using quacks for building construction and government to impose sanctions on those who build without approved building permit to stop building collapses in the state.
