In recent times, Ihiala Local Government Area has been one of the areas in the state affected by insecurity, including attacks by unknown gunmen and kidnapping activities, but the recent launch of “Operation Udo Ga-Achi” has restored a sense of security and confidence among residents.
The Chief Whip of the Anambra State House of Assembly and member representing Ihiala Constituency One, Barrister Jude Ngobili, who disclosed this to newsmen, explained that business activities in Ihiala are thriving; with people moving freely, while efforts are being made to establish the necessary security structures in the area.
He expressed optimism that these measures will significantly reduce insecurity in the area to the barest minimum.
