Anambra State Commissioner for Power and Water Resources, Engineer Julius Chukwuemeka has stressed the need for strong collaboration between developed and underdeveloped countries for sustainable development.

He made the call while speaking to the ABS on the recent withdrawal of the United States of America from World Health Organization, and also the recent Japanese Government and United Nations Office for Project Service, emergency support to Climate disaster in Anambra State.

Engineer Chukwuemeka noted that both developed and developing countries cannot survive in isolation, as developing countries depend on developed countries for technology, improved healthcare, climate support, and other forms of assistance, while developed ones depend on them for raw materials and natural resources, among others.

Contributing, the Commissioner for Petroleum and Mineral Resources, Barrister Anthony Ifeanya encouraged other developed countries to instead of isolating self from underdeveloped countries, emulate Japanese Government that reached out to Anambra State to assist in addressing the climate challenges confronting it.
