The new executive of the Nigeria Union of Journalists, Anambra State Council have assured members of the union that they will run all-inclusive administration.
The chairman of the council, Dr Odogwu Emeka Odogwu who gave the assurance during the first congress of the council for this year held at Godwin Ezemo International Press Centre in Awka, called on members to always participate actively in NUJ activities and support the new executive to move the council forward.
Speaking at the event, the Special Adviser to Governor Chukwuma Soludo on Youth Empowerment Programme, Dr. Nelson Omenugha highlighted the role of the media in ensuring good governance and urged journalists to entrench good governance by always engaging in balanced reportage.
