The Anglican Bishop of Aguata Diocese, Right Reverend Samuel Ezeofor has blamed the problem of the present day Christianity on apostasy and false prophets working against the true word of God.
In a sermon at the Cathedral Church of Saint John, Ekwulobia during a special service for the collation and installation of Venerable Ifeanyi Mgbemene and Henry Okonkwo as Archdeacons, Right Reverend Ezeofor, charged Ministers of God to rise and withstand the attack on the faith of the children of God.
Two of the newly collated Archdeacons, Venerable Mgbemene and Venerable Okonkwo, who thanked God for using Bishop Ezeofor to elevate them, promised to continue to live up to expectations in their Ministry.
The service attended by the Anglican Bishop of Ogbaru Diocese, Right Reverend Prosper Amah, President of Aguata Diocesan Women’s Ministry, Mrs Chinyere Ezeofor, featured inauguration of the Diaspora Archdeaconry in Aguata Diocese, administration of oaths on the two Archdeacons, as well as the re-acceptance of Venerable Emmanuel Ekejiuba as an Archdeacon in Aguata Diocese after taking a vow.
