Socio-Economic Rights and Accountability Project, SERAP, has filed a lawsuit against President Bola Tinubu over his failure to direct the Minister of Finance and Coordinating Minister of the Economy, Olawale Edun to name and ensure the prosecution of the contractors who collected over one hundred and sixty-seven billion naira from thirty-one ministries, departments and agencies; but failed to execute any projects.

 

In the suit filed at the Federal High Court, Lagos, SERAP is asking the court “to compel President Tinubu to direct the Attorney General of the Federation and Minister of Justice, Mr Lateef Fagbemi to bring to justice, as appropriate, any companies and contractors involved in the project fraud.
