It was a great feeling of homecoming as the class of 1989 of Federal Government College, Enugu honoured their former Biology teacher, Lady Lillian Eloji, thirty-six years after they left the college.
The event which took place at Enugwu-Ukwu in Njikoka council area saw the old students present an award and a cheque of one million eighty-five thousand naira to Lady Lilian.
Making the presentation, the President of the Class, Chineye Ochei, who spoke through Dr. Ikenna Ahanya, and another member of the class, Dr Chineye Nwabueze said it was their own way of rewarding her dedication and commitment to duty.
She appreciated the group for remembering her and advised teachers to always create conducive environment for learning to enable their students excel in their academic pursuit.
