Strengthening Public Accountability for Results and Knowledge, SPARK 2, Campaign and the Anambra State Ministry of Health have held a one-day multi-stakeholders strategic dialogue and reflection meeting with State, Local Governments and Community Primary Healthcare Centres, as well as Primary Healthcare actors in Awka.
Addressing the participants, the Commissioner for Health, Dr Afam Obidike who said that the Governor Chukwuma Soludo administration prioritizes the health needs of Ndi Anambra, noted that the meeting was aimed at looking at the policy statement in the state’s healthcare sector, especially in primary health to improve it through accountability and efficiency.
The Executive Director, Social and Integral Development Centre and International Budget Partnership Consultant in Anambra, Mrs Ugochi Ehiahuruike maintained that the multi-stakeholders dialogue and reflection meeting was to re-strategize ideas on a better-quality healthcare in future.
One of the participants from Oba, Idemili South Local Government Area, Chief Godwin Ezedinobi commended Governor Soludo for his transformation of the health sector, especially in the primary health which he noted is now delivering services to the people seamlessly across the state.
