All roads leading to Amawbia got unusually busy as sympathizers, friends, and associates of the Principal Secretary to the immediate past Governor of Anambra State, Hon. Sir Willie Nwokoye throng into the community in solidarity and condolences over the death/burial of his mother, Late Mrs Felicia Nwokoye, who died at the age90 years.
Senator Victor Umeh, OFR. representing Anambra Central Senatorial District together with his wife, Lady Prisca Umeh also joined the former Governor of Anambra State, Chief Willie Obiano; Member of Federal House of Representatives representing Awka North and South Federal Constituency, Hon. Prof. Lilian Oby Orogbu; Deputy Speaker of Anambra State House of Assembly, Rt. Hon. Chukwuma Okoye, former MD of ABS, Ozomkpu Uche Nworah, and other government functionaries in commiserating with Hon. Sir Willie Nwokoye and the entire family over the demise of their matriarch thanking God for the gift of long life and successful offspring.
Senator Umeh who double as hostel mate of Sir Willie Nwokoye at Bubendorf Memorial Grammar School (BMGS), Adazi-Nnukwu further commended the family for their converted effort in maintaining their mother’s health especially in her precarious state thereby prayed for the peaceful repose of her soul and for divine consolation of the bereaved family.
