Following the meeting organized by the Mayor of Orumba South Council Area, Mr Shedrack Azubuike with the native doctors and ndi ezenwanyi, native doctors in Orumba-South under the umbrella body of “Odinala Orumba South” have embarked on oath-taking at Izo mmili shrine Umunze to flush out any bad egg among them.

Correspondent, Joseph Egbeocha reports that speaking after the oath-taking session, some of the native doctors, including Mr. John Ahamkonye, Paschal Okeke, Benjamin Nwankwo, Kelechi Emere, said that they are in support of what the Governor is doing because of ravages of bad eggs among them.

On his part, the Chairman of Odinala Orumba South, Mr. Christian Umeh, explained that they decided to embark on the oath-taking measure to ensure that those sent to fish out evil native doctors will not be biased, adding that those who did not participate in oath taking are given next Monday to do so.

Mayor of Orumba South Local Government Area, Honourable Shedrack Azubike, represented by Mr. King Nwabueze, said upon invitation from the group and in keeping with Governor Soludo’s cleansing exercise, he was on ground to witness the event, saying that with the move, the area will be better.
