The United States has agreed to help Russia boost its agricultural and fertilizer exports to the world market in exchange for a maritime security deal in the Black Sea.
The White House and the Kremlin announced the deal after teams from the United State and Russia met in Saudi Arabia to carve out a pathway towards peace in Ukraine.
These negotiations came amid the Trump administration’s push to end the war in Ukraine that has been dragging on since 2022.
