Over two million Anambra State students have endorsed Governor Chukwuma Soludo for second term at the International Convention Centre, Awka.
Correspondent Chukwuemeka Modilim report that the students who made the endorsement at a mega rally held for Governor Soludo through Council of Students Union Government Presidents also donated a cheque of two million to the governor to support his reelection bid.
Speaking while presenting the cheque to Governor Soludo, the Chairman, Joint Campus Committee, Anambra State axis, Comrade Mathew Okpara explained that they decided to support the Governor for a second term because, all public schools in Anambra State have benefited immensely from the Soludo administration.
Responding, Governor Soludo who said he was overwhelmed by the students kind gesture, disclosed that his administration will soon begin documentation of all students in the state with a view of. giving them bursary award to alleviate their sufferings and urged the students to embrace the Federal Government students loan scheme to achieve their academic pursuits.
