Anambra State Government will soon commence the documentation of students in public tertiary institutions across the state to give them bursary awards.
Governor Chukwuma Soludo stated this at International Convention Centre, Awka during a mega rally held for him by Anambra students where they endorsed him for a second term and donated two million naira to him to support his reelection bid.
Governor Soludo, who noted that the initiative will alleviate financial burden on students, urged them to embrace the Federal Government students’ loan scheme to sustain their academic pursuits.
Speaking while presenting a cheque of two million naira contributed by the students to support Governor Soludo’s reelection, the Chairman, Joint Campus Committee, Anambra State axis, Comrade Mathew Okpara, explained that they decided to support the Governor for a second term because all public schools in state have benefited immensely from the Soludo administration, coupled with the fact that he has done exceedingly well in all sectors of the state economy.
