The Vicar, Saint Paul’s Anglican Church, Umuokpu-Awka, Venerable Dr Ifeanyi Umeh, has asked mothers to brace up to the core duties of motherhood and child upbringing.

 

In his sermon during church service to mark this years Mother’s Sunday with the theme; “Is there anything too hard for the Lord to do”, Venerable Umeh told women that in the face of difficulties, they should anchor their faith in God, and be persistence in praying.

On his part, the Vicar of Saint Philips Anglican Church Umuodu, Okpuno, Reverend Chinedu Okoroafor, said that mother’s should be role models to their wards and avoid domestic violence and other bad attitudes.

In their separate speeches, Mrs Loveline Umeh, Chinelo Okoroafor and the Women President of Saint Philips Anglican Church Umuodu, Okpuno, Mrs Comfort Orakwelu, advised women to prioritize child upbringing and be prayerful to avoid the ugly experiences happening in today’s society.
