The Speaker of Anambra State House of Assembly, Right Honourable Somtochukwu Udeze, has said that there is one God who rules over the affairs of men and universe; despite differences in religious inclinations.
In his goodwill message to Muslim faithful as they celebrate the EID-EL-FITR, Right Honourable Udeze enjoined them to prioritize the growth and development of the country by pursuing peace and unity at all times.
The Speaker, who noted that with religious bigotry and dichotomy, the country will lack progress, urged Muslims to coexist harmoniously with their Christian brothers, and accommodate their religious differences with one faith in God.
He commended Governor Chukwuma Soludo for the spirit of ecumenism, hospitality and oneness he has continued to extend to the Muslim community in the state, and enjoined them to reciprocate the gesture by giving more support to the Governor.
