Anambra State House of Assembly Committee on Works and Infrastructure has expressed satisfaction with the ongoing flood control project in Ekwulobia and Oko and described the progress as commendable despite weather challenges.
The Chairman, House Committee on Works and Infrastructure, Engr. Emma Nwafor made this known during the committee’s oversight visit to the project site.
Speaking at the site, Engr. Nwafor stated that the project is crucial in mitigating perennial flooding in the areas.
Speaking on behalf of the firm handling the project, Engineer Omamofo Ken-Wiwa appreciated government’s support and assured the committee that the project would be delivered according to specifications.
