The people of Umuokpu village, Awka in Awka South Local Government Area have endorsed Governor Chukwuma Soludo for a second term in view of his sterling performance in Anambra State within three years.
The people made the endorsement after visiting Solution Fun City, Ifite flyover and the new Anambra State Government House and Lodge all in Awka
Speaking to journalists after touring the projects, the President General, Umuokpu Awka, Dr Chukwudi Okeke observed that the three projects have given Awka a befitting status, especially the Solution Fun City, which he said will attract millions of visitors annually and generate substantial revenue for Anambra State.
In their separate speeches, some stakeholders of the area, Chief Obiora Mmuo and Lady Beny Anene expressed gratitude to the Governor for the free education he declared from primary to secondary schools in the state, employment of over eight thousand teachers and for doing exceedingly well in infrastructure, security, health among others.
