Stakeholders of Nnobi in Idemili South Local Government Area have called on President General of the community Barrister Dominic Okpala to resign as he is no longer worthy to lead the community after he allegedly admitted in a viral video that he used crystal methamphetamine during his stay in Onitsha Correctional Centre.

Reacting to the video, Nnobi Royal Palace Secretary, Chief Ezeobianumba Ajaghaku who spoke on behalf of the stakeholders, stated that at a time when the state government is fighting to end drug abuse, trafficking and all forms of crimes in the state, a community leader of the status of a President General boldly making such claims in public is only but a call to anarchy.

While wondering why the President General will instigate violence on a community he has vowed to protect, the Chairman of Awuda village, Nnobi, Mr. Nnaemeka Okwelume said Barrister Okpala has been fomenting trouble in the community after he made attempts to illegally amend the constitution of the community and even went further to disobey court orders on the matter which landed him behind bars.
